We got about 10 rooms. People were friendly. Easy check in and out. Sadly during breakfast their machines weren't working so they had no coffee, juice to drink at breakfast but aside from all that it was a good stay. Clean. Comfortable
Liz was cleaning the outside of the property when we arrived. She got us booked into a great room immediately with lots of suggestions for dinner (as the restaurant had closed earlier that Sunday). Clean, quiet room and an overall great experience. Vera checked us out the next morning. Good location and highly recommended due mostly to the courtesy of the staff.
Nicest hotel we've ever stayed at. Beat any Hampton, Hilton, Double Tree and whatever else there is out there. Price was affordable. Continental breakfast is cooked fresh and served to you based off of j a very nice select menu. Indoor pool and hot tub were very nice. Kansas has many beef farms, we'll drive hours through the stench just to stay here again. Also, staff is great! Dustin the food and beverage coordinator was awesome and Corrina at the front desk was very hospitable, funny and kind. The servers were very kind too! Great place.
I couldn't have been more impressed with this place. The rooms were clean The meeting room was very spacious and had all of the accommodations that we needed. Everybody raved about the restaurant. Parking was great. The few times that I went to the front desk everybody was very very pleasant. I definitely will be coming back to garden City in the future and I would like to stay at the Clarion inn I usually stay at more high-end hotels, but the service and convenience and how large this place is is definitely a hit in my book!
The bed was clean and comfy. The TV was small. The pool and hot tub needed some repairs: jets didn't work in the hot tub and the pool hand rail was broken. Breakfast is big and amazing, being served in the restaurant. Location is convenient. We will stay again on other visits.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The pool was cool and relaxing with an excellent little hot tub to soak in. Breakfast was nice and hot. Everyone we talked to was so kind and helpful. Not a fan of the parking situation and there isn't much to do nearby - Parrot Cove was underwhelming - but the hotel itself was lovely.
Great place and amenities for work but if I am being honest... Needs to be remodeled and updated. All the work out machines are broken and dated. Heated pool uses Hot tub water so the pool never gets warm and you are stuck with a cold Hot tub until it heats back up. The people working there make the place great, but the hotel needs help!!
We’ve stayed at this hotel for years. The staff is friendly and the food at Barton’s is great. The bathrooms are small. But the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean.
